Privacy Policy

iwantmy.app is a service by Related Code. It lets you build mobile apps by describing them in a chat. You can reach us at info@relatedcode.com.

This policy covers two groups of people. Builders have an iwantmy.app account and create apps. App users are the people who use an app that a builder made.

Account details: your email address, your name and profile picture if you add them or sign in with Google, and your sign-in history. Our sign-in provider, Clerk, stores these.

Billing details: your plan and payment history. Stripe processes card payments. We never see or store your full card number.

What you build: your requests in the chat, the replies, and every saved version of your apps.

Usage records: technical logs such as which action ran, when, how long it took and whether it failed. Logs do not contain your requests or your app content.

A device identifier stored in a cookie, so the app can remember the device.

If the app has accounts: the email address and a hashed password. We cannot read the password.

The records, messages and photos a person adds to the app, and their location if they choose to share it in an app that asks for it.

The builder of an app decides what the app asks for and who can see it. The builder can see the app's users and saved records in the dashboard.

To run the service: sign you in, build and change your apps, store and show app records, and take payments.

To keep the service safe and working: prevent abuse, enforce plan limits and find faults.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Clerk provides builder accounts, sign-in and subscription management.

Stripe processes payments.

OpenRouter and the AI model providers behind it receive your chat requests and your app's definition so they can produce the change you asked for.

Z8Data stores apps, conversations, app users, records and photos. Z8Log stores technical logs.

Google provides sign-in with Google and the maps shown in apps. Unsplash and Pexels provide stock photos for apps.

DigitalOcean hosts our servers.

These companies process data on our behalf or as independent services under their own privacy policies.

We use only the cookies the service needs: sign-in cookies for builders and a device cookie for app users. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We keep your account and apps until you delete them. Deleting an app removes its database, including its app users and records. Builders can delete single app users and records in the dashboard.

Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Technical logs are kept for a limited time.

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@relatedcode.com.

If you use an app made with iwantmy.app, the builder of that app is your first contact for the data in it. You can also write to us and we will help.

iwantmy.app accounts are for people aged 16 or older. Builders are responsible for who they invite to their apps.

When this policy changes, we update this page and its date. For important changes we also tell builders by email.
